Manager Coach
SalesMagic offers powerful capabilities to analyze your team's activity and to dive into the performance of individual team members. It can even help you prepare for your 1-on-1 meetings with your sales reps by providing bullet points of key successes, areas for improvement, and actionable mentoring plans.
These reports are produced through a unique combination of traditional data retrieval, statistical analysis, and advanced AI summarization techniques.
Your jumping off point for the manager coach functionality is the My Team page. From here, all managers and admins will see a section that offers a collection of one-click queries, such as:
Clicking on any of these buttons will generate a customized report for your team or the individual user. You can also click on the Custom Analysis button to create your own tailored queries. In either case, you will be taken to the main Manager Coach dashboard, which looks like:
At the top of the page there are various menus to let you select the data you want to analyze and the specific analysis you want to perform on those data. These are:
Analyze: The type of data you want to analyze, such as users within your organization or calls made by your team members. This will change the style of the results reported to you. For example, analyzing users may provide a table of users and their stats; whereas analyzing calls may provide a graph of call activity and a list of the actual calls.
Over: The data range of call data you want to analyze. This can be all of the call data in your organization, recent time ranges, or any custom date range that you specify. For example, when generating mentoring notes on a given sales rep, you may want to base this off of all of their calls, to get a holistic view into their performance, or only those in the last few weeks, to discount calls before your last mentoring conversation.
For: Lets you select whether you want to analyze data for your team, your entire organization, or for individual team members. This lets you see comparitive reports for all of your users together, such as who are the top performers or the most improved sales reps, or deep dive into specific feedback for individual sales reps, such as mentoring suggestions for a single sales rep.
Action: The analysis function that you want to perform on the above data. The entries in this menu will change as you select different options in the other menus. For example, the set of actions you can perform on an individual user is different from the set of actions you can perform across all users in your team or org.
Once you've selected the analysis type you want to perform, simply press the Generate Analysis button and SalesMagic will analyze all of the call data and produce a customized report for you. This is done by fusing traditional data retrieval algorithms with advanced AI summarization techniques. For example, here's part of a report to summarize what a single user is doing well in their calls.
